Rare Beauty, Retro Elegance
This wedding was all about mixing retro elegance with a whimsical garden party feel. The colour palette was a gorgeous blend of pale blue, terracotta, mustard, and emerald green, with pops of cherry, lilac, blush, and cream that really brought everything to life.
One of my favourite ceremony set ups to date: the floral bridge sitting pretty behind the couple was repurposed to the dancefloor with the plinths to take the cake table from underwhelming to brand new jaw dropping design.
The overall vibe felt magical and light, with floating flowers and meadow-like arrangements that created an airy atmosphere. We kept things modern and sculptural, ensuring that every detail felt fresh and exciting. The tablescape was a total standout, featuring bold, grouped designs of jewel tone florals nestled in vintage ceramic vases that added a charming touch.
To keep the celebration fun and playful, we focused on quirky ingredients like pitcher plants and rare oncidium orchids that surprised and delighted guests. The designs were petite and refined, striking the perfect balance between impact and elegance without feeling overwhelming.
In the end, this wedding was a beautiful fusion of retro charm and whimsical touches, proving that with the right colours and unique details, you can create an unforgettable atmosphere that feels both nostalgic and totally enchanting.
