Mediterranean Meets Palm Springs
We had full creative freedom with the design for this wedding. The colour palette featured vibrant pinks, yellows, and oranges. We created two show-stopping floral pillars to frame the infamous Somerley House, providing a beautiful backdrop for the “I do” moment. Later, we repurposed these pillars at the reception as the perfect backdrop for the cake. For this wedding, we aimed for a bright, whimsical floral design inspired by Mediterranean and Palm Springs influences.
The couple wanted a relaxed, cocktail-party feel, so nothing was too formal or overdone. We used a playful colour palette of pinks, oranges, and yellows, with lime-green foliage to complement the look. The flowers included roses, orchids, poppies, gerberas, daisies, ranunculus, tulips, and anthuriums, creating an energetic and joyful atmosphere for the celebration.
The designs were playful and mixed with exaggerated heights for added drama. The fun-shaped candles, quirky shaped coloured glass bud vases, and touches of fruit and vegetables really tied into the Italian vibe the couple was after. We wanted it to feel like a true celebration of fun and joy.
