Oh hey there!

My name is Emily, I am the owner and floral designer of Petal Pushers Sydney.

Based in Sydney’s Inner West, Petal Pushers Sydney was born in 2019 after I completed a Cert 3 in floristry. What started as a little hobby resulted in a big career change - pouring beers at the local pub wasn’t doing it for me any more. But this, floristry, it is doing it for me… BIG TIME… I LOVE IT!!

I am so lucky that I get to work with such beauty every day. People always ask me, what my favourite flower is and honestly, I just can’t pick. There are far too many. There is something so special about being able to create something for someone, and seeing the smile on a recipients face makes the stupidly early mornings at market and infinitely unmanicured hands so so worth it.

In my creative approach to flowers, weddings and events, I am obsessed with colour. My signature style derives from this love of colour and I have a preference for bright, organic, intriguing and inspired arrangements over the demure and contrived. I get a kick out of creating arrangements that inject a little bit of fun and fabulousness into your event. I love working with my clients to ensure that the flowers reflect them, their taste and their vision, making sure the blooms match perfectly to the setting and occasion. I am proud to create unique designs- each bloom is individually prepared with so much care and love, and I always strive to provide the freshest and highest quality flowers and foliage. From the first mood board to the last petal, every detail is carefully considered to turn your dream into a reality.
